It appears that Zedd has signed a new exclusive publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing Group meaning he is officially leaving the Kobalt Music Group. The European award winning producer is excited for this new chapter in his career. UMPG Chairman and CEO Jody Gerson comments:
“We are thrilled Zedd and his team chose to move his catalogue to Universal Music Publishing. He is a gifted musician and we couldn’t be more excited to help expand his opportunities as a songwriter, producer and artist across the globe.”
Also being represented by UMPG are Lophille and Grey two of Zedds favorite collaborators. We don’t know too many details yet but I am sure they will emerge soon. Zedd is known for his vast musical background which started when he was very young and has enabled his career to blossom in recent years. This newest move by him should only further his work and bring us more great music.
