Gorillaz

Gorillaz finally made their return to the stage for the first time since 2012 to perform their brand new LP, Humanz, at an intimate venue in London. Their triumphant return to the stage was at a 5,000 capacity venue in London called Printworks to perform their entire new record as well as a slew of their older popular tracks.

The location of the show was kept a secret except to those who were able to purchase tickets to the exclusive show from the Gorillaz official website. After a major hiatus, Gorillaz fans have something to look forward to, as they just dropped four new tracks, their brand new album is set to drop April 28th and their own festival, ‘Demon Dayz coming to England June 10th.

Attendees of show were treated with the first performance in nearly half a decade by the semi-animated group, but also received surprise appearances by several of the collaborators on the album. Damon Albarn was accompanied on stage by De La Soul, Danny Brown, Pusha T, Noel Gallagher and several others to perform their respective tracks from Humanz.

For fans that weren’t able to attend the show, parts of it were live streamed on the Gorillaz Facebook page and can be seen below:
