Tiësto is undoubtedly one of the most well-adapted producers in the electronic music scene. In keeping up with the ever-changing landscape of EDM, the longtime Dutch veteran has just announced the beginning of his new project—a label solely dedicated to the increasingly popular deep house genre. AFTR:HRS was launched with the intention of allowing Tiësto to explore his fascination with deep house. In regards to the startup of his sub-label, Tiësto stated, “I was listening to [deep house] so much that I decided it was time to create a new label just to release these types of tracks and also mix compilations. So today we’re launching AFTR:HRS.” The first release on the label comes from a new artist, BLR, whose identity is still unknown. “Nungwi” is a simply wonderful track that is perfect for relaxing at the beach or taking a therapy ride around town. Premiered on BBC Radio 1, the track will be available May 20.
