ZHU Celebrates ‘Neon City’ Tour With New Track

neon cityThe brilliant and mysterious ZHU recently bombarded his rabid fanbase with some intriguing news. After teasing his supporters with an ambiguous countdown on his website, ZHU announced his plans to embark on the Neon City Tour. While the enigmatic producer has played shows in major cities like New York and Los Angeles, this marks his first ever national tour, where he will travel alongside label mate Gallant to 18 cities all across North America. In typical ZHU fashion, the marketing genius did not simply provide tour dates and links for tickets. ZHU also prank called a scalper for the tour who was looking for $100 for each ticket. ZHU claimed to have only heard of “Faded” and asked for an explanation about what the hype was about.

In addition to being hilarious, the prank call was accompanied by a preview of ZHU’s next release. The short snippet features ZHU’s iconic brand of groovy house, and is set to be premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio Show today, February 25th. This is extremely exciting news for ZHU’s fans, who were last treated to his Genesis Series EP back in November.
