Ultra 2016 Drops the Mic with Scorching Phase 2 Lineup

Just as fans began growing impatient waiting for Ultra Music Festival to release the Ultra 2016 phase 2 lineup, the floodgates opened and showed that it was worth the wait. The festival began announcing its phase 2 lineup on the Miami Music Week Instagram page and boy is it a doozy already. This will clearly take a long time so we only have the first few headliners now, but they include Dash Berlin, Crystal Castles, Richie Hawtin, Steve Angello, and deadmau5. In an refreshing turn, Tiesto will try his hand at a sunset set rather than his typical Friday closing set and David Guetta also got bumped back from his usual second to last Sunday set.

We thought that was enough of a mic drop but apparently Armin van Buuren upped the ante even more for perhaps the best ASOT lineup of all time. Sunday night the megastructure will bear witness to deadmau5, Eric Prydz, and Armin van Buuren all in a row. Armin famously dared Deadmau5 to come to ASOT700 and was harshly rebuked, so now Joel will prove his mettle with dance music’s most discerning ears. This would be an awesome Phase 1 Lineup for most festivals, and is sure to excite deadmau5 fans who haven’t seen him in Miami since his epic troll during the 2014 edition. Ultra could’ve coasted since its already sold out, but they just took things to an entirely new level. In fact, the only bad thing is deciding where you wanna be at any given time because every stage is stacked. Check out the full phase 2 below and get ready for an unreal time this March in Miami.
