Frenchman Kidswaste, took flight following his collaborative cover with Manila Killa, of Caribou’s, “Can’t Do Without You“. His most recent work, a remix of Khai’s, “Do You Go Up”, further divulges the unearthly flair Kidswaste retains. It is evident since his collaboration with Manila Killa, that Kidswaste has improved upon his already impeccable production techniques, aiming his trajectory sky-high.
Kidswaste makes his own alternations to Khai’s, “Do You Go Up” while still maintaining the assonant nature of the original track. Infusing ambient future bass into the work, Kidswaste constitutes an entirely new composition by way of his “Do You Go Up” remix. Kidswaste first received “Do You Go Up” from Khai himself, and has dedicated much time to cultivating his melodic take on the track. Multifarious renditions later, Kidswaste has assembled a sublime remix that does not surround, but flawlessly encompasses Khai’s soothing, alleviating refrain.
