This week was a huge one for Eric Prydz fans, as the legendary producer announced not only the release date of his debut Eric Prydz album but also that he is embarking on an EPIC tour. The tour is already such a smashing success that both NY shows on Saturday and Sunday were sold out almost instantly and a 3rd NY show had to be added on Friday. To celebrate the news Eric opened up his latest Beats One show with his famed EPIC intro that fans will recognize from the vocal “welcome to my house” sample. Continuing the trend, he moved right into the rare EPIC rework of the classic “Power Drive” which went so hard during Ultra 2014 that Eric burned his hand from pyro. After a whirlwind first hour, the 2nd hour returns us to the dark rooms of Space Miami where Eric plays back the 2nd hour of his recent live set. Let’s keep those fingers crossed that we get the remaining hours and that some fans will edit them all together.
