GTA – Goons (Funtcantasy)
Death to Genres Vol.2 is officially here, and the Miami boys kicked it off with the official release of “Goons (Funtcantasy)”. A track GTA has been hyping-up for months, and gained popularity thanks to a number of previews on Soundcloud. “Goons (Funtcantasy)” was the first release off GTA’s latest EP, and the track was followed by “Hell of a night”, a collaboration with Sandro Silva. “Goons” is a perfect example of GTA’s “deaths to genres” philosophy. This track has little trap, then transitions to Jersey club drums, finally reaching the breakdown characterized by a little hip-hop.
GTA is currently on their Goons take America Tour featuring the likes of Sweater Beats, Wax Motif, and Rich the Kid. Stream the track below, and the rest of the EP.
