Britney Spears Collaborates With Burns and Giorgio Moroder

After news broke about Britney Spears teaming up with legendary producer Giorgio Moroder on a reworked cover of ‘Tom’s Diner‘ earlier this year, Spears couldn’t resist collaborating with another DJ. Instagram pics of Spears posing with fellow Vegas headliner Burns in a studio was posted by both artists. Presumably, Burns will be one of the producers for Spears’ much-anticipated 9th studio album. You may know of Burns from his releases on the Fly Eye imprint of Calvin Harris.

Hey @britneyspears I’m sorry I’m so tall, we made some  though so it’s cool

While Spears is not new to DJ collaborations, having worked with Otto Knows, Diplo, Sebastian Ingrosso, Nicky Romero, among others in just her latest album alone, she has been making it more of a priority. Moroder’s version of Suzanne Vega classic ‘Tom’s Diner‘ featuring the ‘Toxic‘ singer has been announced as his next single, coinciding with the release of a lyric video. The track features Spears’ immediately recognizable vocals splashed across a pulsing electronic beat. It’s a fun blast of 80’s nostalgia complimented by a modern dance twist; and the lyric video is a shock on neon with a Blade Runner aesthetic. ‘Tom’s Diner‘ will be the third single from Moroder’s Déjà Vu album. Check out the lyric video below!
