With summer officially behind us, duo Sokko & Lyons combined forces with a group of talent-laden artists to pump out one last summer-themed anthem. Joined by the rapidly rising DJ/producer duo Focus Fire, the single “Dreamcatcher” is a testament to Sokko & Lyon’s newly developed sound – Tropical Trance. Thanks to their counterpart’s influences, the single veers into an interesting direction and packs an emotionally charged punch. Light and upbeat plucks lay the track’s initial foundation, as the celestial vocals of singer/songwriter Dan Henig promptly join in. The progressing build gives way to powerful synths and chords that engulf the track and mark the entrance of an undeniably catchy hook. Tropical House influences are prevalent throughout the single, as an airy and snap-happy melody pace the song with whistling echoes.
