Ever since teaming up with Disclosure to create “Latch”, Sam Smith has become one of music’s biggest stars. He dominated this year’s Grammy Awards and now, the British singer is ready to continue his global takeover. Today, Smith announced that his tune, “Writing’s On The Wall”, will be the next James Bond theme song. Adele, Madonna, Jack White, Tina Turner and Duran Duran are some other artists who have been lucky enough to perform the theme.
It is also worth noting that Sam Smith didn’t leave the Disclosure brothers behind, as they “added some additional production” to “Writing’s On The Wall”. It will be interesting to see if the song is reminiscent of their past collabs, including their most recent one, “Omen”. You can pre-order the track here.
