Madnap x Naisu- DIVE EP
Madnap is one of the most talented yet little known emerging artists in the industry. EDMTunes highlighted this in our Off the Beaten Path series, giving him some much deserved recognition for his remarkably refined production skills. He has shown us this in the past on an EP, giving us his appropriately dreamy ‘Dreamscape EP.’ He has also given us some great collaborative tracks, releasing standouts with Mordecai, Ashley Apollodor and Ehallz. This time he merges the two, giving us a collaborative EP with Naisu. Naisu is a talented young artist who specializes in crafting elegant and beatific soundscapes. He has demonstrated that ability in two notable remixes for Porter Robinson, of Natural Light and Sad Machine.
Madnap and Naisu’s joint EP ‘DIVE‘ is four tracks of the two alternating taking the lead. The first song is called ‘The Atriva Dream Chamber’ and it is a one minute long vocal introduction that provides you with a dream visa on the way to the journey within the dream chamber. This song is designated as being Madnap’s song, clearly appropriate from the man who brought you ‘Dreamscape.’ They alternate in this fashion, playing off each others styles for a satisfyingly varied EP.
