Fish From Japan – Please Don’t Go (Carry On Remix)
Fish From Japan have done a somewhat interesting project on their latest release, melding two of their previous tracks together. The scene newcomers took the instrumentals from their ‘Carry On’ track and laid down the vocals from their more recent ‘Please Don’t Go’ track. The result is a smooth, minor chord-minded, slow burner of a track that’s tailor made for hazy late nights. FFJ’s personal Facebook description is sex music for house people, and this remix matches that ideal to a tee. There’s nothing aggressive or chaotic going on here, and that’s not a bad thing whatsoever. There isn’t a whole lot known about FFJ, and their description goes on to say that they are a collective of producers from Japan that briefly get together to make music once in awhile. Everything we ever read on the internet we believe instantly, so we’re going with that. A cool backstory, nonetheless, and a solid track from Fish From Japan.
