Morgan Page has mastered the art of the remix, as the American DJ/producer earned a Grammy nomination for his rework of Nadia Ali’s ‘Fantasy‘ back in 2011.
This time remixing Markus Schulz’s trance anthem ‘Destiny‘, Page showed us once again the depth and reach of his musical talent. He harmoniously fuses trance and electro house to give the sing-along track an up-tempo boost that maintains the intense emotions of the original track. Paced by a pulsing beat and reverberating vocals, the intro eventually gives way to a drop with electro-style synths. While Page’s imprint on the remix is apparent, the essence of the initial track is preserved with overflowing feelings and trance-influenced vocals ‘Destiny’ is known for. Markus Schulz premiered the remix on his weekly Global DJ Podcast on June 11th.
