Legendary Las Vegas Studio To Offer Sound Engineering Classes During EDC Week

Insomniac founder and CEO, Pasquale Rotella, and DMI Studio lead sound engineer, Luca Pretolesi, are long-time friends and collaborative partners. Rotella recently visited Pretolesi’s studio to engineer the audio that Insomniac will feature during 2015’s EDC Las Vegas. Aspiring producers should take the time out of their EDC-week adventures to participate in a unique opportunity that DMI Studios is offering. From June 16 – 18th, DMI will feature a professional mix and mastering workshop. Jacob Mork, Studio DMI’s Marketing Coordinator had this to say:

This is always an exciting time of the year in Las Vegas for us. Since we are deeply entrenched in the EDM community, the week during the festival seems like a reunion of friends and family bonded by our love of dance music.

Pretolesi has been working as a sound engineer for 25 years, along with Scott Banks, they have built a stunning catalog of work and impressive reputation in Las Vegas. Some familiar projects that Pretolesi and Banks have worked on include ‘Locked Out of Heaven’ by Bruno Mars, Diplo’s remix of ‘Church of Noise’, ‘Tornado’ by Tiesto, and Steve Aoki’s Neon Future II album. Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to learn from some of the most experienced and professional mixers / masterers in the industry.
