Calvin Harris is not only the world’s highest paid DJ, but he’s now Glamour U.K.‘s ‘Man of the Year’. The award was presented on Tuesday night at the Glamour Awards in London. Harris joins interesting company alongside recent winners of the Man of the Year award (all actors); Sam Claflin, Daniel Radcliffe, and Tom Hiddleston… better known as Finnick (The Hunger Games), Harry (Harry Potter), and Loki (The Avengers). The last musician to win the award was Kanye West, in 2009. The superstar referred to winning as “unexpected”.
Ellie Goulding was also awarded on Tuesday night for ‘Cointreau Solo Artist’. Ironically, Taylor Swift had won the award in 2014. Both women have, at some point, been romantically linked to Calvin Harris. It would appear as if everything that Calvin touches turns to gold. He was recently named the world’s wealthiest DJ. Someone should probably double-check that he’s not actually a robot, and qualifies to be Man of the Year.
