Just when you think that there couldn’t possibly be another relevant social media outlet…there is. Snapchat has exploded onto the scene, dominating all spectrums of the entertainment industry as sponsors, partners, wifi providers, and even a possible new base for a record label. Skrillex joined the club, and downloaded the app (as many other artists have), but was forced to select the handle “Skrilloo”, because someone already had claimed “Skrillex.” The value of continuity between social media outlets is obvious. Skrillex has publicly offered back stages passes in exchange for his username. If it was you, would you give it back?
