Like a black panther in the night, Nicolas Jaar strikes again! This time it’s with a BIG remix of Florence + the Machine’s ‘What Kind of Man’. It’s nice to see Jaar dish us all a nice not-so-little solo production, this disco-jungle track builds on some steady percussion with Florence adding a nice vocal assist. We haven’t seen or heard much from Mr. Jaar since Fall of last year when Darkside played their last show at the Brooklyn Masonic Temple. Just prior to that show, Nico and Dave Harrington publicly stated Darkside was “done for now”, we hope that isn’t a permenant statement! Jaar doesn’t have too many announcments for 2015 either, with only 3 European destinations currently lined up. His elusive nature makes it that much more of a treat when you do get to see him. Be see to keep up with any formal U.S. announcements becasue this is one artist who is never to be missed.
