Dusky – Yoohoo
Pleasing house and techno fans since 2011, London based duo Dusky has constantly delivered quality, well put together, down tempo records with a consistency and rarely seen in music as a whole. Being delivered via ’17 Steps’ record label, Yoohoo is yet another well crafted and rhythmic house record that maintains that atypical sound that sits between traditional house and old school techno that Dusky and Dusky alone seems to grasp just right. The techno elements sneak into the track’s back stage, peppering the main melody before coming into its various midsections. Going between a beautiful vocal loop and a non-probing piano lick, ‘Yoohoo’ will remind you why you love house music so much in case you may have forgotten for a split second.
