Aly & Fila with Skypatrol feat. Sue McLaren – Running
There are few groups, especially when it comes to uptempo trance, that can rival the talent and the recognition of Aly & Fila. Already having established themselves are true powerhouse players in the peak-time game, their third album, The Other Shore, is finally their chance to make the tracks they want without having to prove a thing.
Having recently been featured on the 679th episode of A State of Trance, it goes without saying that the duo’s latest tune, Running, is massive. Featuring the vocals of Sue McLaren, alongside the productive collaborations of Skypatrol, the uplifting melodies of “Running” pair perfectly with the ethereal vocals over the top. As the beat gradually builds with intricate harmonic layers and pounding bass lines, the energy is cranked up until the eventual break. Here, the melodies have a chance to breath before the final climax kicks back in with full force.
