Three Six Zero and Warner Music Group Team Up for New Dance Label

Back in 2007, the entertainment group Three Six Zero was formed. Since its founding, the organization has signed and promoted for some of the biggest names in dance music, including Nero, Deadmau5, and Calvin Harris. The company has come a long way since then, and is now set to launch a new record label and music publishing division. This move is in cooperation with Warner Bros. Records and Warner/Chappell Music, which is a big power move for a company such as Three Six Zero.

Some of the label imprint’s first signees include GTA, the Australian duo Cut Snake, and even vocalist Anabel Englund. This spectrum of artists is an attempt to, as Warner Brother’s CEO Cameron Strang says, “[Create] a full service music company for exciting new artists.” He later goes on to say that this new company is going to quite “a creative force.”

The co-founders of Three Six Zero, Mark Gillespie and Dean Wilson, say that the collaborative effort will provide artists with a custom-tailored way to grow through the company. Having the opportunity to either sign music with the label, land publishing deals, or both, the chances artists have within the new endeavor are near limitless.

With some of the star power already wrangled up by this budding success, we are all excited to see the next big moves for such a company.
