Diplo, has graciously thrown together an hour long mix for KIIS FM. Diplo’s 60-minute showcase definitely takes listeners for a spin, sampling several genres including: hip-hop, trap, dubstep, deep house, and even some festival-friendly sounds. The mix features big names from Beyoncé to Disclosure, but the highlight of the entire KIIS FM performance was undoubtedly the tasteful, yet mind-blowing Major Lazer dub of Kiesza’s ‘Hideaway’-that emerges mid-way through the set (26:28 to be exact). Reminiscent of when Diplo teased a dub plate of Madonna’s ‘
La Isla Bonita‘ on Annie Mac, this edit is perfect. While Diplo continues to fend off the barrage of disgruntled fans regarding his recent
ban of kandi at his Mad Decent Block Parties, he has clearly not let the noise get in the way of his musical endeavors. Having aired an incredible 2-hour live from Las Vegas edition of
