Steve Angello – Wasted Love

It’s been a huge year for Steve Angello, and in particular his SIZE Records imprint. Having just released the massive track ‘GODS’, under the moniker S-A with AN21 and Sebjak, his loyal supporters believe his next step will be to release his highly anticipated album entitled ‘Wild Youth.’ First, however, Angello tweeted today that he would be previewing his new track on Zane Lowe’s BBC Radio 1 Show. The track, called ‘Wasted Love,’ features Dougy Mandagi from Temper Trap, whose voice you may recognize from another Angello tune, expected to be on the album with the working title ‘Let Me Go.’

‘Wasted Love’ is yet another track that distances itself from the typical dance music realm that Steve’s former group, Swedish House Mafia, helped to revolutionize. As Steve said moments after he previewed the track, “I think the most important aspect of the album has been self discovery. It’s been a very long process and I’ve noticed and learned a lot about myself during the whole album process. I tried to delve into a lot of different sounds, many inspired by my childhood.” You can view a full live version of the track in the video below, and hear Zane Lowe’s official preview on the BBC Radio 1 website for the next seven days.
