Flume confirms new album is ‘very much underway’

The electronic music world is abuzz with news of album completions and releases taking social media by storm as fans continue to patiently wait for new material by their favorite producers. Among the mau5es, porters, and party of knives, Australian producer Harley Streten, also known as Flume, recently placed himself on the list of highly anticipated album releases with a simple confirmation that “the new album is very much underway”.

Since the release of his self titled debut album in 2012, Streten has been on the production grind releasing singles, remixes, an E.P. with Chet Faker, and music as one half of What So Not. From the infectious and successful trap pairing of What So Not to going even more experimental with the Lockjaw EP collaboration with Chet Faker, Streten has continued to diversify his catalog while teasing his fans with droplets of new material under the Flume moniker. Between his recent smash remix of Lorde’s “Tennis Court” and this 16 second clip, news of a full length Flume album in the near future has us salivating.
