Kaskade Presents A Brilliant 5K Spark Run (With a Giant Party at the Finish Line)

Electronic music veteran, Kaskade, has a knack for keeping things interesting. Always with surprises and innovative ideas to keep fans on their toes, Ryan Raddon, seems to have no limit to his creativity. Following the announcement of an exclusive vinyl Redux EP, Kaskade treats fans to another exciting and refreshingly different announcement via Twitter characterized by a “melding of worlds. A collision of ideas.” As a fan of Kaskade, most will have an idea that he loves to run, almost as much as he loves music, which plays into the new project Kaskade has been working on.

The Spark Run and Kaskade have teamed up to produce a sensory filled 5k “fun run” that encourages costumes, LED’s, glowsticks, creativity and originality. Kaskade’s involvement in the event doesn’t just end with his creative ideas, as Kaskade will run along side participants and offer up a mind blowing show at the end of the run for the after party. Not a runner you say? Got kids you say? Not as young as you used to be? Kaskade gets it and gives everyone permission to walk, dance or crawl your way through as long as you are having fun. This is an all ages event, old or young come together to celebrate life and music.

The Spark Run will be bringing 3.2 miles of fun to five cities across the US: Denver, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Chicago and Charlotte. Don’t see your city there? Don’t despair! There is an opportunity to request the event in your city. Each event will benefit a different local charity.

The event kicks off in Denver on May 9th, register for the event here.
