In
a series of strange DJ injuries occurring in Miami this week,
Dada Life‘s Stefan Engblom has just been rushed to Sweden for an urgent abdominal surgery. Olle Corneer, the other half of the banana-powered duo will be taking over the Dada act for all remaining US shows including this weekend’s Ultra Music Festival, various club appearances in Las Vegas, and Revolution in Bosie, Idaho. According to the Dada webpage, Stefan took the preemptive step to get surgery “to prevent more serious conditions in the future.” The group intends to update fans on Stefan’s hopefully speedy recovery. “We wanted to let everyone know that unfortunately Stefan has had to fly back to Sweden to have some urgent abdominal surgery. It has to be done now to prevent more serious conditions in the future, as of right now we don’t know the recovery time but will have a timeline from the doctors in the coming days and will keep you all posted.
For the upcoming shows this weekend in Miami, Las Vegas and Boise please note that Olle will be coming and playing a full Dada Life show.
