To celebrate the results of the DJ Mag Top 100, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike threw down at the awards event during the Amsterdam Dance Event. The Belgian brothers catapulted 32 spots from 2012’s list and now hold the title of the #6 DJs in the world, according to DJ Mag. At the event, they debuted a new track with Martin Garrix, the Dutch wunderkind who gave the world the ubiquitous “Animals.” After launching the track that hit the top of the Beatport charts and proved inescapable during festival season, new-entry Garrix placed #40 on the Top 100 list.
The collaboration is untitled so far but boasts a pounding bassline similar to Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s hits “Mammoth” and “Turn It Up.” The combined successes of this trio almost guarantee this release will get support from major talent. Check out the video below for a preview.
