Zedd had the whole electronic dance community behind him Sunday night as he faced off against Austin Mahone, Iggy Azalea, The Weeknd and twenty one pilots for the MTV VMA’s artist to watch award. 2013 has been nothing short of a wild year for Anton Zaslavski, who saw his collaboration with Foxes on ‘Clarity’ go platinum in the US played at every dance music festival around the world. Although obviously disappointed that he wasn’t able to top the 17-year-old Austin Mahone’s ‘What Above Love’, Zedd was still reluctant to be nominated and have the whole EDM scene behind him every step of the way. You might not have taken the spaceman home for us, but you sure repped the community well!
