EDMTunes had the special honor of sitting down with Martin Solveig this past weekend in Hollywood, CA at the Avalon to chat about up and coming talents and some past mishappens. The French DJ recently released one of the hottest tracks just in time for summer: Hey Now (featuring the Cataracs). Accompanying his Djing skills with his own acoustic vocals, Martin was showing off every weapon that was in his arsenal that night.
Martin paid tribute to his opener that night, Brazzabelle, grabbing the mic before his set and saying, “Tonight she’s opening for me, but I will be the one opening for her down the road.” He proceeded to play a 2 hour set, mixing his own vocals on his original tracks “The Night Out” and “Hey Now”. The back to back set by Brazzabelle and Martin Solveig was timeless and unforgettable; and as the night drifted away, we knew that was how we wanted to spend “The Night Out”.
