Just last week, The Chainsmokers came under heavy fire after insulting Rihanna and Lady Gaga in a Rolling Stone interview. Naturally, the pop singers’ fans were not pleased with their words in the slightest. After multiple tweets toward the duo compared their success with Gaga’s endless awards, it seemed as though the matter was finally put to rest. However, it now seems as though things have just gotten started.
Drew Taggart, the voice complementing Halsey in “Closer“, recently had his Twitter hacked by someone who clearly had a vengeance. Whether it is a Gaga or Rihanna fan is unknown, but it is pretty safe to assume so. The hacker used his account to call Halsey a “slut” and “whore”, while Lady Gaga was labeled “ugly hermaphrodite” among other harsh and unforgiving words. Whoever did this to Taggart definitely wanted his public image to suffer, but the young artist has assured everyone that this was not him. Hopefully, this is true.
