The Chainsmokers Reach #1 on Radio Airplay Chart

The world of dance music has an endless amount of artists that people are both very fond of and have never heard of before. But if there is one name that probably everyone knows, it is The Chainsmokers. First appearing on the radio waves with their breakout single “#SELFIE“, the duo has since then enjoyed much success in their careers. Their track “Roses” featuring ROZES peaked at #3 on the chart, and as if that wasn’t good enough they have finally reached the tip top.

Their newest single “Don’t Let Me Down” featuring Daya has amounted a total of 18,552 plays during the week of June 19-25, beating out Justin Timberlake‘s “Can’t Stop The Feeling“. For both The Chainsmokers and Daya, this single marks their first achievement of reaching the top of the charts; vocalist Daya previously peaked at #7 with her track “Hide Away“. The three of them took it another step further and performed the song together on Good Morning America in a more “live” setting than a DJ setting. Check out the performance below, and congratulations to this magnificent trio!
