Fresh off her pop hit ‘Boom Clap’ which made its way into the Top 10 iTunes chart, Charlie XCX has followed up with dark pop single ‘Break The Rules‘, which may remind listeners of Madonna in her early years. The catchy goth tune has now received the remix treatment from the father of modern dance music, Tiësto. He flips the original into a big room record meant to slay on the festival grounds. Although this style may disappoint fans who prefer his melodic sound, this remix strategically fits into the most popular and profitable sector of dance music right now.
