Dubai makes the fourth edition of the show, with previous locations at Miami, New York, and Paris’ Louvre Museum. There is no actual announced venue yet but we expect a spectacular performance nonetheless. Possible speculations could include the Dubai Frame, Canal, or Skyscraper. In Paris, he killed it behind the lights and the glass pyramid in the background. He played an epic mix with house tracks and big energy tempo fit to ring in the new year. We saw him surrounded by high rise buildings in Miami, perfect for spring break moods. And lastly, in New York he played atop the skyline with big room house tracks that made us dance on fire.

For those that don’t know, the virtual series contains trailblazing performances that you can watch from home. As COVID-19 persists in 2021, artists continue to gift us music in the best way they can currently. What’s more, is that Guetta is raising money for charity through these streams. He raised over $500,000 for UNICEF and Restos du Cœur.

So, get ready for the next chapter of United At Home with the grandfather of EDM. Based on his last venues, we can expect this show in Dubai to be just as monumental and historic. While you wait, you can watch his last show in Paris below.

The Top 100 Djs Virtual Festival series will take place every Saturday and Sunday, from July 18th through September 19th. The live stream will be broadcast on DJ Mag’s YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch channels. The Saturday broadcast will celebrate the Top 100 DJs, featuring performances by those who have the potential to be a part of this year’s poll. Sundays, on the other hand, will be dedicated to the Alternative Top 100 DJs. This poll uses that same data as the Top 100 DJs while cross-referencing Beatport sales data to rank and celebrate the contribution of house and techno artists.

The weekly lineups for the live streams will be announced soon. However, artists such as Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, David Guetta, Oliver Heldens, and Timmy Trumpet are confirmed to be Saturday DJs. For Sunday, techno and house artists such as Carl Cox, Stacey Pullen, Solardo, CamelPhat, and Nicole Moudaber will perform.

DJMag Top 100 to Benefit UNICEF

For the fourth year, the DJMag Top 100 DJs poll will be in aid of UNICEF. This organization aims to help and protect children around the world. This benefit will focus on responding to the coronavirus pandemic; proceeds will go directly to the organization’s emergency response fund. Viewers and voters of the poll will be encouraged to donate to the charity.

Voting for the Top 100 DJs will open on July 15th at 12 PM BST. Make sure to tune in to the initial live stream of the Top 100 DJs Virtual Festival. For more information on the live stream, visit the official website.

DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll has raised more than £69k for Charity

We all love that time of the year when we get to vote for our favorite DJs at DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll. We also love the fantastic countdown that Amsterdam Music Festival throws for us each year to celebrate the winner. But, did you know that there is actually much more behind this competition than just the artists trying to get your vote? For the past two years, DJ Mag has partnered with Unicef, an organization that provides emergency food and healthcare to children around the world. This year, the partnership has raised roughly £69k. All the money raised from the poll has been used to provide vaccines for more than 800,000 children in need.

The donations for the campaign came from different channels: readers, partners and even DJs participating in the poll. Some big name DJ’s and organizations include Armin van Buuren, Alan Walker, Afrojack, Hardwell and even Tomorrowland. It is amazing to see how the power of music can reach so many hearts. It’s reassuring to see how people all over the world engage in such a noble cause.

On behalf of Unicef, UK Executive Director Mike Penrose said:

“We would like to say a massive thank you to all at DJ Mag for their continued support through the 2018 Top 100 DJs poll. This year marked the second year of our partnership with the magazine and we are delighted with the total raised. The donations from DJ Mag’s generous readers will go a long way in helping Unicef UK protect children in danger around the world and really will help transform their lives”.
