Skrillex and Boys Noize are currently generating excitement among their fanbase by teasing a collection of unreleased music under their collaborative alias, Dog Blood. This announcement strongly hints at a potential new release from this legendary electronic duo, known for their boundary-pushing sound.

Skrillex and Boys Noize provide an opportunity for the fans to hear what the duo have been cooking in the studio

Over the past weekend, Skrillex took the initiative to connect with fans by sending out a link to snippets of new music. He also shared an Instagram Story titled, ‘Dog Blood ID Mega Mix 2026,’ which features a near two-minute teaser that showcases a mix of unreleased tracks. These tracks highlight Dog Blood’s distinctive style, characterized by their signature acid electro sound and heavy, distorted basslines. Notably, the teaser integrates a sample of Rihanna’s hit, ‘Don’t Stop The Music,’ adding an intriguing twist to the music. Not just that, even Boys Noize shared his own teaser of the unreleased Dog Blood music on his Instagram Story as well.

Dog Blood reunited on stage at Portola Music Festival

This teaser surfaced just before Skrillex and Boys Noize reunited as Dog Blood during their electrifying performance at the Portola Music Festival in San Francisco on September 26, the annual house and techno festival held at the Pier 80 venue in the city’s Bayview-Hunters Point neighborhood. Click ‘Play’ on the YouTube link below to check out their set at Portola. This event marked their first appearance in nearly five years, following a hiatus that had left fans eagerly anticipating their return. The duo’s last official release was the four-track EP Turn Off The Lights, which debuted in 2019. Additionally, their earlier works, such as ‘Next Order / Middle Finger’ and ‘Middle Finger Pt. 2,’ have played significant roles in defining their unique sound, seamlessly blending elements of electro, techno, acid, and bass music.

No confirmation yet on any plans for a future release

Though the teaser contains multiple unreleased IDs, it’s important to note that neither Skrillex nor Boys Noize has yet confirmed any specific plans for a new EP, mixtape, or album. Furthermore, there has been no announcement regarding a release date or official tracklist. This teaser also coincides with Boys Noize’s preparations to release 7LLVSION, his first solo LP in five years. The album will feature the lead track ‘1+1+1,’ featuring ZEP, which is set to release on November 6. Overall, the ‘Dog Blood ID Mega Mix 2026,’ strongly suggests that fans can expect more dynamic Dog Blood music on the horizon, making this an exciting time for electronic music enthusiasts.

While we don’t know much else about the track or when we can expect its release, we can tell it’s going to be another Calvin Harris insta-hit. With lyrics like “We were dancing, we were wild in the ocean,” the mystery artist’s soothing vocals sing over gentle acoustic guitar, which later morphs into a bright EDM beat. “When the crowd is all around me, you’re still all I see.”

Check out the new song teaser below and stay tuned for more info.

Harris released his last single, ‘Lovers In A Past Life (with Rag’n’Bone man)‘ back in February, and it’s since seen official remixes from the likes of Westend, Felix Jaehn, and LP Giobbi. He hasn’t released a full-length album since 2022’s Funk Wav Bounces, Vol. 2, which debuted at No. 17 on the Billboard 200 that August. Perhaps this new teaser marks the start of a new album. One can only speculate for now but stay tuned for more details.

Where You Are

This will be the second collaboration between the two artists, just after their hit ‘Where You Are’ which became one of the most played songs this summer. It has remixes of some of the industry’s biggest names like Zedd, Griz, and my personal favorite remix by Gorgon city. We can’t wait to hear their upcoming collaboration so we can dance til we drop into the abyss.

Hayla’s Climb

The Liverpool native has had a beautiful rise in the EDM scene . Kx5’s ‘Escape’ is a statement of her talent and is now part of a Grammy nominated album. This has elevated her status and has inspired her for more and more. Her latest single ‘Fall Again’, is a statement of her ability as a songwriter and the fact she does not need only to collaborate with the biggest names in the industry to be a big name herself.

John’s Summit

The Chicago native keeps getting better and better. Just recently, he became the only DJ to be a part of Forbes 30 under 30 list. This is a claim to his power as a producer and the amount of love he has garnered in the most recent years. He has been headlining some of the biggest festivals in the World and he now runs his own record label Experts Only. Currently he is beginning a new residency in the new Las Vegas LIV nightclub, in the new Fountainbleu Hotel. What can’t he do?

Are worlds colliding? I repeat, are worlds colliding? It seems like, at least. After what feels like an eternity and a half, the paths of Italian Trance maestro Giuseppe Ottaviani and the famous record label Anjunabeats appear to collide. It’s actually impressive something like this didn’t happen years ago, since both parties have been constantly in touch.

Ottaviani posted the following on X:

The tease comes during a time in which Anjunabeats has been proven to open to a bigger scope of artists from related labels, apart from the usual wave of new talent we got used to with the Rising compilations.

Giuseppe’s post gave the spark to the hype fire fans were waiting for. Not only do the replies appear to be super excited over at X: there’s also a whole Reddit thread over at r/aboveandbeyond.

Fans’ Predictions

The loudest of all voices appears to be Giuseppe Ottaviani’s new track, to come out on Anjunabeats, is a collaboration with former Anjunabeats Rising stars — now properly established locals — Alex Sonata & TheRio. Their conjoint track, for now known as ‘Tears Of The Kingdom‘ on forums and 1001Tracklists, was spun by himself during his Luminosity 2023 set. Find it below at the 7:00-minute mark.

Although expected to come out on Armind the same way Giuseppe’s and ilan Bluestone‘s ‘Futuro‘ did, there’s a high chance this track gets a release on Anjunabeats. There are also rumours of an Alex Sonata & TheRio Anjunabeats Worldwide compilation. Talk about timing.

The second option that is circulating is that Ottaviani’s Anjunabeats debut is a remix of a classic. A classic, in fact, that turned 17 this year: Aalto‘s ‘Resolution‘. The track in question is also present on Giuseppe’s Lumi set, around the 44:30-minute mark. Some fans, though, say the supposed ‘Aalto – Resolution (Guiseppe Ottaviani Remix)’ is actually not a remix from him. We’ll have to wait and see.

Final Thoughts

For a relationship that stretches back to the Trance Around The World era (veterans know what I’m saying), it’s impressive a Giuseppe release didn’t come to Anjunabeats sooner. In fact, he played a guestmix for the 285th episode of TATW back in September of 2009. A couple of years later, Ottaviani’s track ‘Toys’ alongside Betsie Larkin, would be the opening track of TATW 422, in April of 2012.

The Italian artist has hit a point in his career in which he’s opening to a more Techno-oriented market, with past releases on labels as unexpected as Hardwell‘s Revealed Recordings. A Techno-heavy Anjunabeats by the hand of the international AS&TR duo awaits with open arms.

We’ll have to wait and see, but we’re excited, indeed.

Only a day later, Harris came back with another video. This time, he reveals how he made the song that will come out this week, titled ‘Potion‘. As you can see in the video posted on his Instagram and TikTok, Dua Lipa is featured on the track. Harris adds yet another big name to Funk Wav Bounces Vol.2, just like he did with Funk Wav Bounces Vol.1. Surely, everyone remembers the last time the two collaborated. ‘One Kiss‘ was a massive hit and racked up more than a billion plays to this day.

Finally, Harris unveiled it all May 25th, with the post below.

As you can see, ‘Potion’ is a collaboration with Dua Lipa and Young Thug. The song will be out this Friday, May 27th. ‘Potion’ is gonna be the first single of Funk Wav Bounces Vol.2 that will see the light. The album is still scheduled to come out this summer, but Harris has not announced a date yet. We will have to just wait and see.

Stay tuned for more news!

The video that you can find below shows a desert and some sort of Middle East/Arabian music. It shows large Arabic architecture doors opening, which fans have identified as being in Morocco. The video goes on to show a desert landscape that looks very similar to the Moroccan desert. ‘Coming Soon’ is the only text we see at the end of this video.

We will surely be hearing from Tomorrowland soon. But what could this teaser be about?

The wildest guess would be a new festival destination. Tomorrowland could be planning to expand to newer exotic places, as it successfully did for Tomorrowland Winter. Some plausible touristic areas would be a middle eastern one like Dubai or a North African one like Morocco.

On another hand, this teaser might be a theme trailer for this year’s Belgium edition. We already know that The Reflection of Love is the theme set since 2020 but who knows what lore Tomorrowland will build into this year’s theme. Usually the theme is unveiled with a cinematic trailer.

Another possible explanation for this teaser and location would be a Tomorrowland Unite stop. The festival is known to host Unite Events around the world where the festival is broadcasted to local fans and visitors, with live DJ sets and also a broadcast from the holly grounds.

Only Tomorrowland can give us confirmation on what this is all about. In the meantime, stay tuned as we share the latest news.

Dan Stephens, Joe Ray, and Alana Watson came into their prominence with the hit “Promises”. This was later remixed by Skrillex, and ended up receiving a Grammy Award.

This is the first album the Nero has produced since their 2015 release Between II Worlds. In the build-up for the upcoming release, Nero released a remix of Daft Punks “Emotion” in March of 2021. This is drawing in a lot of interest for their yet unnamed album.

EDMTunes will keep you posted as we receive new information on what is sure to be a smash.

As you can see, this particular tweet hints that a collaboration between Adventure Club and Seven Lions may be forthcoming. It’s pretty mind boggling that such a small amount of information could have such an impact. Immediately, it begins shifting people’s focus to the three producers. For instance, Seven Lions recently shared a tweet hint of his own about an upcoming release. To the delight of his fans, ‘Only Now‘ should be hitting digital stores soon. Check that post out for yourself.

Surely that tweet hint gets some love as well. Although, being a producer, we all expect to see song/album release news from him all the time. However, with just 10 simple words, Adventure club creates a huge buzz for both artists. Certainly, that buzz will continue humming all year until this potential collaboration materializes.

The year is getting off to a fast start with announcements of new music, albums, and tours popping off constantly. In particular, artists in the bass music community are overwhelmingly seizing the limelight with news of fresh sounds. Accordingly, Twitter fingers are going into overdrive this morning following Griz & Dillon Francis teasing a collaboration implication. Undoubtedly, this would be a killer collaboration that bassheads would love to hear. After Griz posts to his feed about a new joint for Dillon, the retweets start pouring in.

As you can see, the convo abruptly ends there since Francis likely slides into Griz’s DMs per his post. So, speculation and hearsay are probably all we’ll get about this collaboration for the time being. Teasing us like this is definitely the move as fans will be on edge until more concrete info becomes available. However, we may not have too long to wait to get the full details.

There may be some obvious reasons why the two are teasing us this morning. Firstly, Griz is dropping into Europe for his Ride Waves Tour which kicks off in Barcelona on February 20th. Meanwhile, Francis will be rocking stages stateside along with Yung Gravy starting shortly after. Their Sugar, Spice, and Everything Ice tour jumps off from Pittsburg on March 23rd. Therefore, that doesn’t leave much time for the two to get together to finalize any new tracks. Although, a lot can be done via virtual means with the current state of today’s music production technology. In any event, chalk one more up for bass music today. For now, heads will be anxiously waiting until more news becomes available. The hits just keep on coming and the artists just keep on teasing. In the end, the year is getting off to a fabulous start.
