Duck King is something of a franchise staple, having appeared in Fatal Fury since the original 1991 release. His arrival on August 27 marks his first playable appearance in a mainline entry in decades, and it’s being treated as one of the more requested character returns in the series’ history. Within the game’s lore, Duck King and Salvatore go way back — it’s Duck King who tips Salvatore off about the King of Fighters tournament, and Duck King who taught him the freestyle martial arts style he fights with in-game. ‘Duck! Duck! Duck!’ is essentially the track that relationship was always building toward.

Sonically, the record does what Ganacci tends to do best. It runs at 135BPM with a disco backbone and a forward momentum that doesn’t let up, layering in game-native sound design elements to create something that functions as both a club record and a piece of interactive media. It’s uncompromising in its energy, unserious where it needs to be, and unmistakably his own — which tracks for an artist who’s built a career on refusing to sit still stylistically.

‘Duck! Duck! Duck!’ follows Ganacci’s earlier contributions to the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves soundtrack, ‘Work Hard Not Smart’ and ‘Berserk’, continuing a run of records written from inside the game rather than as standard tie-in content. Because Ganacci fights in the game as a playable character with his own moveset and storyline in South Town, the connection between artist and title runs deeper than a typical licensing deal. The first two tracks brought his sound into the game — this one comes back out of it.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves marks SNK’s first mainline entry in the series since 1999’s Garou: Mark of the Wolves, arriving 26 years after that installment closed out the franchise’s last chapter. The new game introduces a REV System aimed at supercharging its battle mechanics, along with two distinct control schemes designed to serve both newcomers and longtime fans. Its soundtrack has leaned heavily on electronic artists, and ‘Duck! Duck! Duck!’ lands as the latest addition to that ongoing series of collaborations.

‘Duck! Duck! Duck!‘ by Salvatore Ganacci is available now on all streaming platforms. Listen below.

How Do I Make You Love Me? Remix

The Ingrosso/ Ganacci remix of The Weeknd’s ‘How Do I Make You Love Me? starts quick, with a snippet of the original vocals. Fourteen seconds in, we get the tunes kickdrum, and at the thirty-second mark, we get the full beat. It’s interesting to hear this remix, as the original is a pop-centric, 80’s style track. In this edit, however, we get a full-fledged, jackin’ house beat. If you thought Drake’s take on house music was good, just wait until you hear this edit.

With a runtime of three minutes and thirty-seven seconds, the Sebastian Ingrosso & Salvatore Ganacci Remix of The Weeknd’s ‘How Do I Make You Love Me?‘ is just what we needed. This is a tune that is sure to smash any dancefloor to which it is played. Having said that, if you’re looking for a fresh take, on an instant classic, or just something to groove out to, this is the tune for you. Sebastian Ingrosso & Salvatore Ganacci Remix of The Weeknd’s ‘How Do I Make You Love Me?‘ is out now, and can be streamed below, enjoy!

The remix is accompanied by a new video for the original track, which I’ve featured below, enjoy!

This week, we bring you 3 stellar tracks each with its own unique flair, each deserving a moment to shine.

Salvatore Ganacci – Fight Dirty

At this point, we’re all familiar with Salvatore Ganacci’s name, whether it’s the music or stage antics. Overall, the producer always gives us something entertaining providing a unique experience, and that also can be said about ‘Fight Dirty’.

Musically, the bouncing and infectious rhythm work in tandem with the bassline for a track that keeps us moving. In addition, the heroic and intense production function perfectly given the music video. To note, the video takes fighting anime to heart, including Japanese voice actors. However, the release itself is actually coming through MDL Beast, a creative platform based out of Saudi.

Pindell – In Front Of Me (feat. TRØVES)

Pindell put their melodic talents with the transcendent vocals delivered by TRØVES to bring us ‘In Front Of Me’ via ARWV. From beautiful soundscapes provided from the pads and cozy feeling, down to the guitars bringing a sleek feel, all the elements come together starkly. Furthermore, the chorus just opens up the sounds even further, bringing energy and a memorable melody. At the end of the day, when hearing this song, it’s a fantastic example of teetering between the edges of melancholy and serenity.

Friendzone – Glow In The Dark (feat. Nevve)

Finally, coming in as another standout track is what Friendzone crafted on ‘Glow In The Dark’ featuring Nevve. Kicking off, it’s silky melodic arps and soft pads from the start, then intertwining with Nevve’s stark vocal delivery. In addition, the layers continue to compound as percussive elements build into an ear-worm bridge. This leads into a recurring singular distorted bass tone that provides a fundamental edge, highlighting the following melodic and uplifting production.

Keep your eyes peeled on this series, as there’s a lot more to come, and many more artists to highlight.

Salvatore knows how to get the party started and keep the people happy. He is arguably the most lively performer flexing new dance moves on every track. He is also maybe his biggest hater making sure to boo himself at his own set at Tomorrowland.

‘Step-Grandma’ is the house track we all needed right now. It features a thumping kick and bassline to get things started. The melody fades in with heavily reverbed vocals dominating the background. The lyrics running over and over again are “Om mig, släpp inte taget. Kom och håll om mig nu.” This somewhat translates to “About me, do not let go. Come and hold me now.” The lyrics are perfect for any club. I get some disco vibes once the drop kicks in.

Make sure to give the video a watch below. It is so ridiculous and that’s why we love this man.

The Boycycle EP is his first release following ‘Horse‘ in 2019. The title song, ‘Boycycle‘ continues Salvatore Ganacci’s theme of fantasy. If you remember, the ‘Horse’ music video featured him driving around in a shoe while donks played in the background. Well, ‘Boycycle’ isn’t any less weird. The music video is about a human motorcycle (boycycle) and he wants to find love. The ending is quite hilarious, but I won’t spoil it so you can watch it for yourself by clicking here. Also, ‘Boycycle’ features vocals from Sébastien Tellier. If you miss the donks from Horse, don’t worry because ‘Heartbass‘ is a donk banger. This record features vocals from Tommy Cash. Salvatore Ganacci actually played this record together with Tommy Cash on the Tomorrowland mainstage in 2019. The final song, ‘Interest in Sport‘ is a groovy house record with a touch of Salvatore Ganacci sounds.

Overall, Boycycle is fresh and top quality. Salvatore Ganacci showed his versatility by putting out an EP with three different genres on it, and even a few different languages. I’m a big fan of Salvatore Ganacci and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for him. You can stream his latest EP below, enjoy!

The inaugural edition of MDL Beast Festival is slated to take place from December 19 to 21 in Riyadh. Check out the promotional video below!

Djakarta Warehouse Project Phase 1 is now online. This festival is one of the largest annual dance music festivals in Asia. Last year was its 10th Anniversary and they had a huge and successful edition.

Let’s get straight to the point and review the first confirmations for this amazing event. The first four headliners are Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, Skrillex and Zedd.

Indonesia is place of beauty, crystal waters, peace, and great music. Is there any better plan for this December? I do not think so. This new edition of the biggest dance music festival in Southeast Asia will be a three-day event. This event will happen from the 13th to the 15th of December in Jakarta’s International Expo. This guarantees an amazing weekend from this first phase 1 lineup.

This 11th edition of the festival has released more than the first 4 headliners. In this phase 1, they have also confirmed the presence of Elrow Special Stage and many other artists.

These world-famous artists include Oliver Heldens, Jonas Blue, Martin Solveig, Yellow Claw, Dash Berlin, R3hab and the controversial Salvatore Ganacci

If you have not seen anything about this festival yet, we recommend you to check out last year’s aftermovie. Djakarta Warehouse Project is a different festival in the EDM circuit with significant differences from the typical European and American events. Definitely a unique experience for the EDM lovers looking for a different adventure. Tickets and travel packages can be found here.

Right out of the gates, Salvatore became one with the audience as he literally stood out in the crowd as his own intro was playing. Similar to last year, his introduction featured a narrator that was highly critical of Salvatore himself. Initially, the male narrator was serious and upbeat but then took a turn when realizing who was up next. He went on to call Salvatore a ‘circus performer’, stating ‘this would be the end of Salvatore Ganacci’.

What fans didn’t expect, was to have Ganacci himself travel from the crowd, up to the DJ booth. After taking the time to shout and boo his own performance, who knew what else the legend had up his sleeve. From here, Salvatore energized the crowd, not holding back his intense and iconic dance moves.

Despite the rainy weather, Salvatore made his performance fun and random. Everyone can agree after watching him up on stage (or in the crowd), that he enjoys what he’s doing and loves poking fun at his haters. Still, what will he come up with next year to top this? Could we see him parachute into the festival or maybe even bring people from the audience up on stage with him? We’ll just have to wait and see, as it’s impossible to stay ahead and predict what he’ll do next.

For now, be sure to watch Salvatore Ganacci’s intro below! His full set should be added to YouTube on Tomorrowland’s official channel within the next couple of days.
