This release isn’t just a standalone single; it is the final precursor to ILLENIUM’s sixth studio album, ODYSSEY, scheduled to drop on February 6, 2026.

With ‘Feel Alive‘ now out, fans have a clearer picture of the album’s 19-track journey as he simultaneously announced its single titles. The single joins previous hits like ‘War’ with LØ Spirit and ‘Forever’, signalling that ODYSSEY will be an emotional and career-changing album.

Coming to the sandy beaches of Ft. Lauderdale, Audacy Beach Festival will make landfall this winter with a long list of top artists. Joining Swedish House Mafia at the South Florida event will be headliners Twenty One Pilots, The Lumineers, Glass Animals, Weezer, AJR, and Bastille. Supporters such as All Time Low, YUNGBLUD, and Willow will also be performing.

For SHM Florida fans, now is the perfect time to witness a live performance by the iconic music group. This will be the first time the trio will be performing in the state since their official return at Miami’s Ultra Music Festival in 2018.

Audacy Beach Festival is set to take place on Saturday, December 4, and Sunday, December 5. Tickets go on sale Friday, September 24. Stay tuned for updates on the event.

And actually, it gets even better. During the stream, which shows Nicholas creating magic (I mean music), we got a glimpse into his file library. There we saw recently modified files with Bastille, Dabin, Wooli, Seven Lions, as well as a new track with Annika Wells. You’ll see from the image below that the dates are within March of this year.

As we’re all aware, the coronavirus pandemic has been sweeping the globe and resulted in the cancellation or postponement of festivals and live shows. To prevent the spread of the virus, governments have mandated or highly encouraged self-isolation to stop the spread. On the bright side, one benefit of this is the opportunity for some of our favorite artists to spend more time in the studio. It has also given rise to a number of live streams in place of what would have been live shows, as the world bands together to try to keep spirits up.

If you haven’t already, it’s definitely worth jumping onto Twitch. The streaming website also allows you to join listening parties with other music addicts or follow artists such as JVNA, who regularly does live streams. For many of us who are spending more time indoors these days, Twitch is a handy ticket to keep cabin fever at bay.

The exceptionally talented Kelly Clarkson hosted the event, pulling off multiple wardrobe changes and performances. She was rushed to the hospital to have her appendix removed due to acute appendicitis shortly after the ceremony – our thoughts are with her!

Although the American singer-songwriter was the true superstar of the night, some of the biggest EDM heavyweights also shined bright by taking home some seriously impressive wins. The Chainsmokers won the Top Dance/Electronic Artist over Calvin Harris, Kygo, Marshmello, and Odesza. They also took home the win for the Top Dance/Electronic Album over Clean Bandit, David Guetta, Kygo, and Major Lazer.

The Chainsmokers weren’t the only EDM musicians to come out on top, either. Zedd won the Top Dance/Electronic Song, alongside Maren Morris & Grey, for his chart-topping hit ‘Middle‘. Runner-ups included DJ Snake ft. Selena Gomez, Ozuna & Cardi B, Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa, Marshmello & Bastille, and Tiesto & Dzeko ft. Preme & Post Malone.

Stoliarov’s attorney is none other than famed Nashville copyright attorney Richard Busch. Busch is known most recently for winning Marvin Gaye‘s lawsuit against Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams for ‘Blurred Lines’. The suit for Stoliarov claims damages for the infringement, and a detail of how much money the Marshmello song has actually made.

“Arty claims out of the 20 notes, the order of the first 19 notes are identical. Arty says he and Marshmello are acquaintances and often perform at the same music festivals. [he] also claims Marshmello was at one of his shows and saw him perform his “I Lived” remix.” – TMZ

Listening to the two tracks side by side makes it hard to ignore the similarities. Listen to the chorus of ‘I Lived’ first around 1:49, then listen to the chorus of ‘Happier’ at 0:49 played back at 1.25x playback speed.

This controversy around Marshmello is tacking onto the recent lambasting he has taken in the media from CHVRCHES for collaborating with Chris Brown, fuelled further by Jai Wolf.

Last week Marshmello and CHVRCHES revealed that they were releasing a song together. Now ‘Here With Me’ is out for all of us to listen to. There was a lot of hesitation, especially from CHVRCHES fans, as they felt the Scottish trio were “above” a collab with Marshmello. But it’s not a terrible song.

There are people on the internet are calling it ‘Happier’ 2.0. Which, of course, is making reference to the hit track that Marshmello released last year with Bastille. And it’s a fair comparison. This song, like ‘Happier’, is deceptive with its contrast in tone and lyrics. ‘Here With Me’ is a song full of longing, and missing someone. The pop-y beat behind the words makes it so that it doesn’t get too muddled with sadness.

The highlight of the song is definitely Lauren Mayberry’s vocals. She really shines in this song. The beat is alright, but nothing stand out and memorable.

The biggest issue with the song is that it’s way too short. It feels like it cuts off halfway through. And at 2:36, it is shorter than your average dance track. Maybe they’re saving plenty of room for remixers to come in and do their thing? It’s hard to say.

All in all, it’s not that memorable of a track. It will likely get over-played on the radio because it is very air-friendly. But it doesn’t seem to be the sort of song that people are going to actively seek out.

Season 15 of The Voice brought out old holiday tunes and new ones as DJ Marshmello and British band Bastille performed their latest single ‘Happier‘. Last night, the live finale concluded with one of the four finalists (Kennedy Holmes, Chevel Shepherd, Chris Kroeze, Kirk Jay) crowned the winner. For the holiday season, Voice coaches Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson sang “O Holy Night” together. New Voice coach, John Legend, and Esperanza Spalding sang “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” off his new album A Legendary Christmas.

We all know the song–this feel-good anthem would be nothing without the voice and lyrics. Taken aback by how the UK band portrayed the song, Mr. Mello says the amount of emotion you feel is insurmountable. This song is about someone trying to let go of a relationship they don’t want to let go of. But like with all good things that must come to an end, the goal is to have them be happier.

The official music video reveals a relationship of a girl and her dog. Miranda Crosgrove portrays the girl and she has to put her dog to sleep–a hard decision for anyone that confides in their dog as their best friend. While not the happiest video, the ironic title has a greater purpose.

For anyone that has ever needed help moving forward, this song is for you. Do we still need to figure out who this white masked artist is? I think we should just be happy with everything he has given us so far.

Marshmello and Bastille have released a handful of remixes for their track ‘Happier’. Jauz was one of the artists who put their own flair on the song. Jauz’s remix is slower, which just illuminates how sad the song is. This tonal and mood shift compared to the original really fits. It feels resigned and regretful.

‘Happier’ is not a happy song. It’s full of heartbreak and the original song masks it with how upbeat it sounds. While there’s nothing wrong with that, there’s something extremely powerful about this remix. Jauz hits you in the gut with “Wow this is a sad song.”

At the same time, none of the effects and changes that he’s made are overpowering. It’s carefully made and well done.

In a tweet, Jauz talks about how he made the song at 4 AM while on tour. That might explain the mood a bit. The early morning hours are usually melancholy. Or perhaps he just hadn’t gotten to have his Starbucks coffee yet?
