Lukas Ruiz, better known as the Brazilian DJ/producer Vintage Culture, announced via social media that he is taking a break from touring. Vintage Culture uploaded a short statement on Instagram Story (shown below) that he decided to not perform at Mykonos and at Burning Man this year. He is also scheduled to perform at ARC Music Festival on September 7, which we assume is also being skipped. He stated that he is “taking this week to rest and recover”, especially since he had been touring 25 shows across three continents in the span of a month. Having a travel-packed schedule where one performs in three continents within a month, definitely can impact physically and mentally.

As of this moment, Vintage Culture has not announced when he will return from his break and where he will perform next after he concludes his break from touring. The artist also had a busy 2026 when it comes to unveiling stellar releases, most notably the recent EP, SELEKTA, that he produced with American DJ/producer Kevin Brauer and his latest single, ‘Think Too Much.’ Vintage Culture dropped those releases on his Affairs record label, which he founded last year. As of right now, what matters is that Vintage Culture gets the much-needed break that he deserves and whenever he makes a return, it will be a stellar one.
