3 Are Legend — the collaborative project uniting Steve Aoki and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike — have finally given an official release to one of their most-requested festival tracks. ‘What You Say,’ featuring Grammy Award-winning artist Imogen Heap, is out now on Dim Mak Records, dropping during the label’s 30th anniversary year.
The track has been circulating in the trio’s live sets for months, building anticipation well before its release. From Tomorrowland to festival stages around the world, ‘What You Say’ has consistently drawn some of the biggest crowd reactions in their sets, earning a reputation as a standout unreleased weapon thanks to its euphoric builds, cinematic tension, and Heap’s instantly recognizable vocal hook.
Aoki spoke on the release: “A lot of our fans will already know this one because we’ve been road-testing it in our sets for months, including at Tomorrowland last year, and every time we’ve played it, the reaction has been massive. Imogen Heap’s vocal and melody are instantly recognisable. It’s one of those rare songs that ignites emotion the moment you hear it, so you can imagine the impact it has on a festival crowd. It’s taken a long time to get this one over the line, but we’re incredibly excited to finally share this collaboration with Imogen with our fans.“
