Following the Red Rocks premiere of his “The One” concept, Alesso continued the exclusive tour with California shows in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Joining him at the historic Sears Building were Soraya and Sentinel, drawing an early crowd; Sentinel’s frequent Alesso collaborations no doubt earned them extra support as they played some of their first ever performances in the United States. Their progressive hits ‘Only You’ (with Alesso) and ‘Hurricane’ (with Martin Garrix) brought a euphoric daytime atmosphere to the lot.

SCRIPT’s powerful sunset set carried the energy into the night with a selection of powerful house tracks. His remix of David Guetta and Kid Cudi’s ‘Memories’ particularly stood out, breathing additional life into the crowd, leaving them amped up and ready for the main event.

Alesso more than delivered, turning up the massive sound and elevating production with laser, firework and pyrotechnic elements. Musically, he covered every span of his career – classics like ‘Years’ and ‘City of Dreams,‘ IDs from the techier BODY HI direction, and entire-audience singalong moments with ‘Calling,’ ‘If I Lose Myself’ and ‘Heroes.’ Bass music fans received a surprise treat with AVELLO’s remix of ‘Destiny’ and the Too Biased remix of ‘Fade.’

Naturally, an afterparty at Exchange LA had to follow. This aftershow felt considerate of an audience attending both events: Alesso added variety to the night, inviting SCRIPT behind the decks for a surprise B2B performance. The two performed an exciting club set, with less emphasis on their respective catalogues. Later, Sentinel returned to the stage to close out the night.

Limited opportunities remain to witness this fantastic experience live: “The One” arrives in NYC in August, and Alesso returns to Stockholm for a homecoming show on June 27. Tickets for all Alesso shows can be purchased on his official website.
