German Techno powerhouse Chris Liebing utilizes the assistance of Belgian Techno Hero Charlotte de Witte for the Acid filled EP ‘Symphonie des Seins’, via his label CLR. Translated from German into Symphony of Being, the track marks the second production between the two visionaries, seven long years after their first collaboration titled Liquid Slow.

‘Symphonie des Seins’

As expected from Liebing and de Witte, the title track ‘Symphonie des Seins’ takes listeners into an atmospheric journey filled with crispy and purposeful kicks, hypnotizing and captivating mantra vocals, and of course, tons of Acid. de Witte completes it with her signature car-engine/speeding vehicle soundscapes that pump you up with adrenaline. The song reflects on the idea of sounds and vibrations to appeal to healing, and that the human experience more than just one sound. Rather, it represents a Symphony of vibrations that if aligned properly, it can connect you to the divine. This truly reflects on the experience that Techno provides. A meditative, introspective, borderline primal escapade.

Alongside ‘Symphonie des Seins’, Chris Liebing offers a Dub version of the track. The edit takes the title into a deeper and liminal territory, where each element remains strong and coherent, yet the energy is more geared towards a late-night warehouse. Furthermore, the 4-track EP presents us with two more fantastic tracks by Liebing. On one hand, ‘Roy Batty’, is a hypnotic and eerie track that focuses on a darker mood, filled with intriguing textures and distorted vocals. On the other hand, Liebing brings back the Acid with ‘Brooks Ave’. The final track of this release brings us home with a harder bassline and an explosion of Acid.

This second collaboration cements their legacy as two of the most influential artists in the Techno scene. Both Liebing and de Witte have perfected their craft to now showcase their talent to some of the biggest stages in the world.
