We R The Problem Welcomes JORDI IVEN & SUERZA with “THIS IS HOUSE”

JORDI IVEN and SUERZA are back with “THIS IS HOUSE,” a bold, groove-focused track now available on We R The Problem. More than a typical club anthem, it symbolizes years of friendship, a shared vision, and a dedicated focus on the roots and culture of house music.

The roots of the collaboration trace back nearly three years to a one-day visit and an impromptu two-hour bedroom studio session in southern Spain. What began as a brief creative moment quickly reignited a long-standing friendship and laid the groundwork for an ongoing musical partnership. When Jordi returned to New York, the collaboration deepened, evolving into a growing catalog of releases that reflect their aligned sound and mutual love of house music.

“This Is House” is built around the iconic “This Is House” sample and delivers exactly what the title promises. Driving and confident, the track is anchored by a strong, rolling groove that pushes the energy forward, while soft, understated vocals in the break introduce a smooth emotional contrast – grounding the record in feeling as much as function. It’s timeless, direct, and unapologetically club-focused.

The release also reflects the close creative bond between Jordi and Klaudie, founder of We R The Problem, who has been a long-time friend and supporter of Jordi’s journey. As Klaudie continues to build the label into a growing community, that support has naturally evolved into collaboration – not only through releasing music, but by bringing Jordi and SUERZA into the heart of the label’s showcases and culture.

Jordi took part in We R The Problem’s first-ever label showcase at Gospel NYC, a night that perfectly captured the spirit of the project. The energy built throughout the evening, culminating in a spontaneous back-to-back set before flowing seamlessly into a classic New York afterparty that ran until 9 am – the kind of moment that defines scenes rather than standalone shows.

Looking ahead, Jordi Iven and SUERZA continue to expand their reach. The pair have another release lined up on a close friend’s label in Berlin, alongside plans for a release party in the city. While SUERZA is currently based in Madrid, playing regularly across the city, Jordi has been spending time in Brazil, performing multiple shows and strengthening his international presence. He is set to return to New York soon, with appearances planned at Gospel and other key events.

“This Is House” focuses on connection, culture, and the lasting energy of house music, not chasing trends. It’s a fitting release for We R The Problem and signals what’s next.
