Kaskade Returns to Huntington Beach for Sun Soaked 2025

There are few feelings in EDM as magical as watching the sunset bleed into the horizon while your favorite DJ weaves emotion and energy together — and Kaskade did just that at Sun Soaked on September 6, 2025. From the moment the gates opened until the final notes, the show was a beach‐front dream come true.

The lineup to support Kaskade at his festival was stacked with some of the most recognizable names in dance music. Acts like MEDUZA, Malaa, SIDEPIECE, Walker & Royce, with a handful of local support acts, set the tone beautifully. Each hour the energy ratcheted up: daytime beats melted into golden hour transitions, and those transitions turned into full dusk grooves. It’s always tricky to shift from daytime festival vibes to peak evening EDM energy, but the organizers prepped the stage and sound so that there was no jarring drop in momentum.

The performances were all carefully planned out to curate the best possible experience on the beach. Kaskade took the stage during the golden hour of the evening with a set that played through the sunset. With the perfect weather breezing across the beach venue, Sun Soaked was the perfect festival to close out the summer. Kaskade played songs from across his extensive catalogue of music and catered to the demand of the fans by dropping some of his classic hits such as ‘Atmosphere’ and also his soon to be classics like ‘Tears Don’t Fall’. After a hour and a half long set from Kaskade, SIDEPIECE closed out the evening with their house set which set the tone for a great way to close out the evening.

Kaskade’s Sun Soaked festival is one of the highest demanded festivals in the world and this past weekend proved to us exactly why this is the case. Hopefully next year we’ll see Sun Soaked not only return back to Huntington Beach but also new destinations around the country so more can partake in this unique musical experience.
