WAVEDASH – Whiplash
NGHTMRE and Slander’s record label Gud Vibrations has picked up some real talent since it started. Included in this talent is Texas trio WAVEDASH. ‘Whiplash’ is their first release of 2019 and it is an absolute banger. Appropriately named, because after all the headbanging you will be doing, you will probably suffer from whiplash.
The track starts off rather calm. The beat picks up about a minute in and that is when we are greeted with a catchy tune. As the pace picks up to the drop, the bass finally kicks in. Headbangers will rejoice but please take caution for the sake of your neck. Dubstep shines brightly in 2019 thanks to WAVEDASH.
The trio is preparing for the release of their sophomore EP, ‘Opening Ceremony.’ They had this to say about the track:
“The end product was something we were hoping would appeal to DJs and listeners alike, and we’re really excited with how it came out.”
The group really caught fire in 2016 after Skrillex picked up their track ‘Bang’ and featured it in OWSLA’s Worldwide Compilation.
