Insomniac is blowing up the format of its flagship festival for 2027. The company has announced 12 Days of EDC: Dusk Till Dawn, a stretched-out version of EDC Las Vegas that will run May 13-24 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and spill out into venues across the city.
EDC Las Vegas will split its 2027 edition across two separate festival weekends instead of hosting its traditional single three-day event. ‘EDC Dusk’ kicks off May 14-16, followed by ‘EDC Dawn’ on May 21-23. The full Dusk Till Dawn experience bridges the gap between those weekends, with the celebration extending well beyond the festival grounds through curated events happening throughout Las Vegas for the entire 12-day run.
Insomniac founder Pasquale Rotella framed the expansion as a way to give the EDC community more room to actually hang out together, not just rave.
“I’m really excited to introduce 12 Days of ‘Dusk Till Dawn’ and expand the EDC experience beyond the festival weekends. We’re creating new ways for Headliners to experience the music, art, culture, and connection that make this community so special. We’ve always believed in pushing ourselves creatively and finding new ways to bring people together. Most importantly, we’re building this for our community. A place to dance, connect, discover, create, learn, meet new people, see old friends, and hopefully make some memories you weren’t expecting,” Rotella said.
The programming around the two weekends is extensive. The World Party Parade returns following its debut in 2026, bringing back the free, all-ages electronic music parade that drew in Headliners from around the world for a daytime celebration of dance culture. It remains a free event open to the public.
Beyond the parade, Insomniac is rolling out 12 days of pop-up events and parties scattered across warehouses, clubs, art galleries, and other spaces around Las Vegas, with dedicated opening and closing parties bookending each festival weekend, including activity at Camp EDC.
New for 2027 is the Map Point Summit, housed at Hotel EDC. The name pays tribute to the underground rave tradition of “map points,” where ravers gathered at secret meeting spots before organizers revealed the party location. Insomniac is repurposing that concept as a summit for people looking to break into the dance music industry and connect with the broader rave community, with on-sale details still to come.
The company is also launching its first-ever Insomniac Concept Store, also based at Hotel EDC and free to attend throughout all 12 days. Expect artist meet-and-greets, surprise DJ appearances, exclusive merchandise drops, and a vinyl shop stocked with both new and old-school electronic records alongside standard EDC festival merch.

Rounding out the lineup of experiences is Beyond the Rave, an art show dedicated to the visual culture that’s grown up around rave scenes over the decades. The free exhibition, also at Hotel EDC, will run the full 12 days and mix work from established artists with pieces from creators inside the electronic music community — photography, graffiti, paintings, flyers, poster art, sculptures, and collectibles all included.
A Marketplace will operate Tuesday through Thursday at Hotel EDC, free to enter, spotlighting independent makers, fashion labels, record sellers, and tech and design vendors from within the rave community.
Camp EDC is getting an overhaul too — for the first time, pass holders will be able to use their campsite as a home base for the entire 12-day stretch rather than just the festival weekend itself, bridging the gap between EDC Dusk and EDC Dawn.
EDC Las Vegas has occupied the Las Vegas Motor Speedway since 2011 and continues to stand as Insomniac’s largest annual festival. The new two-weekend format marks one of the biggest shifts in the event’s history, with more details on lineups, ticketing, and Dusk Till Dawn programming expected soon.
