Lee Burridge has released his new four-track Faze EP via All Day I Dream, marking his first solo project in five years. The DJ, producer, and label boss has spent much of the last decade behind the boards of his own imprint, so a solo release of this size is worth pausing on.
Faze pulls together two previously released singles, ‘Reaching Stars‘ and ‘Fading Out‘, alongside two new cuts, ‘Glow‘ and ‘Before I Lose Control‘. The EP arrives as a snapshot of a genuinely productive stretch for Burridge, who’s been one of the more consistent tastemakers in the melodic house and techno space since founding All Day I Dream in 2015.
Sonically, the EP leans into everything All Day I Dream has built its identity around — warm melodies, dreamy vocal textures, and grooves that unfold slowly rather than announce themselves. The four tracks are sequenced with intention, moving from the daytime glow of ‘Fading Out’ into the later, more introspective territory of ‘Before I Lose Control’. It’s a structure that mirrors the arc of one of the label’s own parties, where the sound shifts gradually from open-air afternoon sets into deeper, moodier closing hours.
The timing isn’t incidental. Burridge stepped back from touring at the start of 2026 to focus solely on writing and producing, carving out space for this material to come together. That period overlapped with the release of Sound of a Dream, a documentary tracing his four-decade run through London, Hong Kong, Thailand, Burning Man, and eventually the founding of All Day I Dream. Between the film and the new EP, it’s been a year of Burridge looking backward and forward at the same time — reconnecting with the community and the storytelling that have followed him through every chapter of his career.
The release also follows a return to where it all started. Last weekend, Burridge played a rare eight-hour open-to-close set in Brooklyn, the city where All Day I Dream first took root. Faze effectively closes that loop, turning a year of momentum into his first solo EP release since 2021.
