Colyn and Sainte Vie, both renowned and respected artists in the global music scene, have finally released their long-awaited track, ‘Desert Sunrise.’ This enchanting piece has become a cherished soundtrack for countless fans, highlighting the extraordinary magic they create together.
A year ago, these two longtime friends showcased their collaborative spirit by debuting their co-written track during an unforgettable B3B set with Innellea at Burning Man 2024. This potent performance captivated audiences and set the stage for ‘Desert Sunrise,’ which has since emerged as a secret weapon in their individual sets, igniting the hearts and minds of listeners worldwide. Most recently, they included this mesmerizing track in their dazzling Tomorrowland 2026 B2B performance on the iconic Planaxis stage. As their debut collaboration, it will be available for fans to experience starting September 18th on Interstellar Recordings.
The track sets the magic that allows listeners to feel festival vibes, whereever they are
‘Desert Sunrise’ definitely embodies the essence of that magical feeling that envelops you after an open-air festival, as the rich colors of night gradually yield to the soft light of dawn. It fills hearts with an overwhelming love for fellow ravers and a deep appreciation for humanity. The track features a growling bass synth that underpins resonant, melodic themes, creating an atmosphere as clear and intoxicating as the crisp desert air. Slow, euphoric chords evoke the emotionally stirring power of progressive and melodic electro at its finest, while the poignant spoken vocal delivers a life-affirming declaration that resonates with listeners on a profound level.
Colyn and Sainte Vie detailing how they began to compose ‘Desert Sunrise’
‘We wrote this track while preparing for our Maxa x Mayan Warrior sunrise set at Burning Man 2025. After sharing a sunrise set together the year before, we wanted to compose a special intro for this unforgettable moment and capture the feeling of a sunrise in the desert. Some songs become the soundtrack to moments you’ll never forget, and this has been one of those for us. Every time we hear it, it brings back incredible memories. We hope it resonates with you in the same way and becomes part of many special moments in your life.’
