DJ Mag’s Top 100 list frequently becomes a major talking point in EDM fandoms and communities worldwide, influencing artist booking fees, festival appearances and public perception of what’s hot. Following a successful live debut last year, the annual ranking event and celebration returns to Ibiza’s [UNVRS] with a one-of-a-kind award show and club night on Tuesday, October 6th.
BBC Radio 1’s Sarah Story will host DJ Mag’s Top 100 LIVE, and the event promises exciting performances from Anastazja, Charlotte De Witte, Gordo, Korolova, Lost Frequencies and Vintage Culture, in addition to the live reveal of the World’s No.1 DJ, just prior to them taking the [UNVRS] stage.
Previous winners include Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, and Hardwell, with Martin Garrix and David Guetta dominating the rankings since 2016, often trading for first and second place. Regardless of who this year’s Number 1 is, an immediate headline performance at [UNVRS] makes for an incredible way to celebrate the honor.
