Back in March of this year, Los Angeles-based producer Le Youth had released his latest album, who are you really?, and the album provided notable tracks that fans still continue to play on repeat. The album had collaborations with the likes of Forester, Robinson, Lipless, Hana Fatur, and so forth and the album showed why Le Youth is gaining a name for himself as a top melodic house star. Fast forward to this present, Le Youth has released a remix EP of who are you really? on Lane 8‘s renowned imprint, This Never Happened, and the remix LP sure does bring out some very innovative touches to the original album.

The remix LP of who are you really? shows off intricate interpretations of some of the original album’s tracks

The tracks from that original album that are on this remix EP are the album’s title track itself, ‘still my ecstasy’, ‘alone’, ‘sanctuary’, and ‘i don’t know what to say’. The title track had Leossa providing the remix duties for, whereas ‘still my ecstasy’ had OCULA remixing it, while ‘alone’ had L.GU. condcuting his own remix of it. Furthermore, Matt Fax put his own twist to ‘sanctuary’ and GVN providing his unique touch to ‘i don’t know what to say’. These outstanding remixes definitely provided one-of-a-kind renditions of the notable tracks from who are you really? and they definitely are tracks that fans can really enjoy listening as this summer comes to a close.
