John Summit’s Experts Only Festival returns to Randall’s Island Park on September 19–20, 2026, for its second edition. After a sold-out 2025 debut that drew more than 50,000 fans, the two-day event expands production across three stages while Summit curates a mix of house, bass, techno, and indie dance. Tickets are still on sale now, with the weekend expected to welcome another large crowd for sets from Summit himself (solo and as SUBJOHNICS with Subtronics), plus a stacked supporting bill. Tickets can be purchased here but be quick before they sell out.
Here are five standout acts worth looking out for on this year’s stacked lineup.
Rohaan
UK’s versatile producer Rohaan delivers boundary-pushing bass that fluidly moves between drum & bass, deep dubstep, grime, and experimental hybrids. His debut album Bleach earned UKF Artist and Album of the Year honors, with support from Four Tet, Fred again.., Jamie xx, and Zeds Dead. Releases on HARD, VISION, Hospital, and Deadbeats (plus his own OVAL label) showcase intricate percussion, heavy yet nuanced low-end, and restless energy. Expect dynamic, unpredictable sets full of pressure and texture that stand out on the festival’s bass-leaning slots.
LYNY
Chicago’s Alec Leinhauser has emerged as a key voice in modern bass and trap-leaning electronic music, known for distinctive sound design built largely from scratch. Tracks like “Noxious,” “Section,” and material from his 2025 debut album Noise To Dance To showcase wonky, melodic, and heavy hybrid productions that have earned support from major names in the scene. His sets bring inventive low-end pressure and festival-ready drops that stand out in a bass-heavy crowd. Expect clever vocal chops, unpredictable structures, and a playful yet hard-hitting energy that keeps the dancefloor locked in.
Partiboi69
Melbourne’s Partiboi69 brings chaotic, high-energy electro, techno, and “ghetto freak” vibes with a playful, larger-than-life persona. Known for infectious, unapologetic dancefloor tracks and visually distinctive live shows (including Boiler Room appearances), he runs his own labels and delivers sets full of attitude, rapid edits, and party-starting aggression. His presence adds an underground-to-festival crossover edge that thrives in outdoor environments. Expect irreverent energy, sharp transitions, and pure chaos that turns any stage into a proper party. Give a listen to his dancefloor heaters like ‘K On My D + C,’ ‘Pumpin,’ and ‘Double Drop’.
GRiZ

GRiZ is a not miss after he came back from his hiatus, known for his signature future-funk sound—sax-driven, soulful, and bass-heavy driven. Recent work includes the GEMiNI EP, the Sidequest Vol. 1 mixtape, and the 2026 album Future Funk Volume 1, which leans into heavier bass while keeping the groovy, uplifting core that built his dedicated live following. Recent work includes the GEMiNI EP, the Sidequest Vol. 1 mixtape, and the 2026 album Future Funk Volume 1, with standouts like ‘Griztronics,’ ‘Where You Are (GRiZ Remix),’ and ‘Light You Up.’ Expect a full-band energy feel even in a festival slot, with improvisational flair and feel-good yet impactful drops that blend funk, soul, and serious low-end.
Jackie Hollander
The Bay Area-to-L.A. rising star has quickly become a tech-house and melodic house force, with releases on Nervous, REALM, Experts Only, and Insomniac imprints. Tracks like ‘All My Friends Are Hot,’ ‘High on You,’ ‘Addicted,’ and ‘You Go I Go’ showcase driving, exuberant grooves that have earned her Billboard Dance Up-and-Comer recognition and major festival slots (including Coachella, EDC, Bonnaroo, and Electric Forest). Her sets deliver hypnotic, bass-forward energy ideal for daytime-to-sunset slots and the festival’s more intimate or art-focused stages, full of rolling basslines and feel-good momentum.
