Above & Beyond and longtime vocalist Zoë Johnston have released a full remix package for ‘Quicksand (Don’t Go),’ a standout cut from the trio’s album Bigger Than All Of Us. The package is out now on Anjunabeats.
Two brand-new versions from Mark Sherry and Ciaran McAuley join previously released remixes from Sultan + Shepard and Ben Nicky, rounding out a four-way reinterpretation of the track. Between the four producers, ‘Quicksand’ travels from deeper progressive territory into uplifting and tech trance, giving the original a noticeably different shape once it hits the club.
Mark Sherry turns in one of the harder-hitting versions in the pack. The Irish producer has built a career on driving tech trance, with sets at Tomorrowland, Ultra, A State of Trance, Creamfields and Dreamstate, plus collaborations alongside Armin van Buuren and Giuseppe Ottaviani over the years. His connection to ‘Quicksand’ actually traces back to last November.
“I was playing at the Dreamstate SoCal event in November 2025 when A&B were on,” Sherry says. “‘Quicksand’ was easily the standout track of their set. It sent huge shivers down my spine. I’m absolutely delighted to be part of the release. It’s definitely a bucket-list project.“
Ciaran McAuley, meanwhile, leans into the record’s emotional side. As one of the more prominent names in uplifting and vocal trance, McAuley has worked with Paul van Dyk, Ferry Corsten, Aly & Fila and Gareth Emery, and has spent years building his own catalog of melodic, vocal-driven records.
“It’s been not only a dream for younger me, but I’m sure for many trance enthusiasts, to be part of what these guys have done. Big respect,” McAuley says. “I’m truly grateful to be a part of this massive single from Above & Beyond and Zoë Johnston.“

Those two new mixes join a pair of contrasting takes that arrived earlier from Ben Nicky and Sultan + Shepard. Nicky pushes the tempo up with a harder, tech trance rework built for peak-time slots, while Sultan + Shepard go the other direction with a deeper, more progressive read on the record.
‘Quicksand (Don’t Go)’ first debuted at Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy 600 show in Mexico City and has since become a fixture of the Bigger Than All Of Us world tour, which has sold roughly 175,000 tickets across its run. It’s emerged as one of the clear fan favorites from the album.
The ‘Quicksand (Don’t Go)’ remix package is streaming now on Anjunabeats.
